Obviously Adam Lambert has been the most successful of last season's
American Idol crop. 200,000 copies of his debut album sold! That's way ahead of releases from both champion Kris Allen and fourth placer Allison Iraheta. Controversial he may be, you cannot question that's he become a big star... and yet he's afraid of one thing.
"[I'm scared] that people won't want to buy the rest of my music,"
Lambert told OK Magazine during the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York last week. "That people will stop being interested, I think that's my biggest fear."

I'm not a fan of Adam Lambert, but it doesn't take one to realize that what ABC is doing to the
American Idol runner-up is quite ridiculous.
Let's begin, of course, with that performance at the American Music Awards a couple of weeks back. It was aired at around 11pm, but it still shocked viewers--a sexually-charged performance with simulated erotic actions and other suggestive bits. We all know the outrage it caused, both from viewers who found the performance too much, and from fans who think people are just being hysterical over it.

While the other networks are canceling Adam Lambert's scheduled
performances, FOX is signing up their glam protege for the
So You Think
You Can Dance finale. It'll be the first time Lambert performs on FOX
since he was performed for another big FOX finale:
American Idol. He'll be
performing "Whataya Want From Me," the latest track from his debut
release "For Your Entertainment," and I'm sure the PTC will be
watching closely.
Lambert's performance will be part of a two night
So You Think You Can
Dance finale -- December 15th and 16th. Yes, it's hard to believe, but
the
So You Think You Can Dance finale is next week and will feature not
only Adam Lambert, but six finalists.

I so totally guess it's time to bring back the
American Idol roundups, because last time I checked, the show is coming back in six weeks' time. Six weeks! It was just like yesterday when Kris Allen won the title, trumping fan favorite Adam Lambert... well, it seemed like yesterday because Adam's still in the papers and everybody else is moseying along, which leads us to this. On this roundup: Kris discusses Adam's controversial performance, Simon Cowell plans a possible
X Factor attack, and something to get me giddy: Allison Iraheta's album, which comes out tomorrow. Yay.
