Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the girl who preformed on the first American Idol program on the big stage. She had blonde hair and was playing an electric guitar? She had an unusual name but I can’t remember it.

Thanks :)

I mean they showed bad ones but no funny ones. Doesnt it that suck? No disrespect to anyone on American Idol. But all i saw was a bunch of sob stories and no funny auditions.

Ah, the coveted Top 10 of American Idol is finally here. Tonight’s performance will be your preview of what the summer American Idol 2010 Tour will look like so let’s hope you like it! Okay, it probably won’t give you the best idea since the singers will be locked in to performing a R&B hit under guest mentor Usher’s guidance, but it’ll be close enough. I can’t wait to see what Tim Urbaya, the new Sanjaya, butchers tonight! Anyone want to guess?

You can check out our preview for this week’s episodes which will not only feature performances by Usher but also P. Diddy and, get out the riot gear, Justin Bieber. Do you think Usher will outshine Miley as a mentor? Truth be told, Cyrus was surprisingly better than I thought she could be, but Usher has years of experience on his side.

Check back in tonight at 8PM as we discuss the 2-hour show live in our Idol chat room! Stay on top of the latest American Idol news when you follow us on Twitter!

20100330-aitop10.JPGAmerican Idol still has a lot of work to do before season 9 can be considered a success. Idol is still in the process of removing the worst of the Top 24. Nearly every contestant seems to be playing it safe. But maybe this will be the week it all changes, maybe as Lilly Scott sang, "A Change is Gonna Come."

As you know it's R&B and Soul week and  Usher is serving as a mentor. The Top 10 will  certainly need it, save perhaps Michael Lynche, who's at home in the genre. Maybe Andrew Garcia too, but I've given up on him long ago, so I don't have many expectations. I've learned better this season.
