American Idol 2010 Top 9 Perform Tonight

The British are coming! Tonight on American Idol 2010 the remaining Top 9 singers will take to the stage and relive the songs of two of the most famous singers who came to us through during the 1964 British Invasion: Paul McCartney and John Lennon of The Beatles. The song selections will come from these two singer-songwriters rather than The Beatles’ catalog.
Still no confirmation on who will be this week’s mentor, but the obvious suspect would be John Lennon’s ghost Paul McCartney. That’d be a tall order, but maybe we’ll see it happen. If it’s not Paul, who would you think would be a great mentor? And if you say, “Miley,” I’m going to reach through the screen and shake you!
