Today the nominations for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards were announced, and as usual, it's a collection of obvious choices. Guess what? Teens still love Twilight, and they also really like Justin Bieber, Glee and Justin Timberlakie (who, at 30 years old, will probably be given a Lifetime Achievement Award next year).

Finally an update for you on what some of your favorites from the American Idol 2011 Top 11 are up to for their post-Idol singing careers. THR has pulled all the info together and there’s finally some really good news for some of the singers who didn’t end up in the finale.

Contestants who placed anywhere between third and 11th are automatically spooled into a co-management option with Red Light Management, the Charlottesville-based company that looks over the likes of Dave Matthews Band, Tim McGraw, Phish and Alicia Keys.

Three Season 10 Idols picked up by Red Light are second runner-up Haley Reinhart, fourth placer James Durbin and Pia Toscano.

So that leaves us without details for Stefano, Paul, Casey, Jacob, Naima, and Thia. Hopefully we’ll hear some good news soon for their fans too.

Of course Scotty is being taken very well care of by none other than Carrie Underwood’s manager, Ann Edelblute. Lauren has been assigned to David Cook’s handler, Michelle Young. Both Scotty and Lauren continue to have Simon Fuller’s direct management as well.

Lot of accomplishments for this past American Idol season’s group!

Lots of really important information included in these documents so if you’re serious about going to one of the seven audition events for season 11 to try out then you need to thoroughly read these.

Here are a few of the most important highlights from the requirements document pertaining to age and citizenship questions:

You must be able to prove at the time of your registration and audition that:

• You are a legal U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident who is eligible to work full-time in the United States
• You are 15 to 28 years old on June 26, 2011 (which means you must be born on or between June 27, 1982 and June 26, 1996). If you were born before or after this window, you are not eligible to participate this season.

We’ve had a lot of questions from those who are too young asking if it’s okay if they still come out and audition for American Idol 2012. Hopefully that age requirement makes it completely clear for those wondering.

One interesting thing to note is the FAQ document’s reference to a Los Angeles audition event having a shortened registration window. The document then lists the seven audition locations and none of them are Los Angeles. So that’s either a left over copy&paste error from last year’s document or an LA event has been planned but not announced or it was dropped from their list. Weird.
