I think that Light On is more like David Cook’s style. He sounded kind of funny singing about "magic rainbows" in his song Time of my Life. But I love that song anyway.

Kara Wanted Off American Idol

Despite her dad's sentiments about her disappointment of reportedly being cut loose as an American Idol judge (Fox still hasn't commented), Kara DioGuardi apparently has wanted off the show for a while.

was just watching Idol and they showed how Melinda went back home to Tennessee, and how they named a day "Melinda Doolittle Day" and even named a street after her… AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THAT’S CRAZY!?!?

I mean for Christ’s sake, she’s a singer, she’s just a normal person who has a good voice
!! Is there really no one more deserving of recognition in the entire state of Tenessee? No one who’s done some good for their community? They showed 1 little girl crying and saying "She’s really gotten me through some tough times" a little dramatic much??

I think it’s rediculous how people glorify others over silly things like singing ability!
I’m not bashing Melinda! and I don’t watch it that often so I don’t know of this Jordan star that you speak of… who I’m bashing is the people who think Melinda deserves a day and street named after her. I’m pretty sure Melinda herself doesn’t think she’s entitled to that! She seems like a pretty level-headed person. It’s not an insult to her, but to the people who idolize her.
