How long does the american idol audition process take?
I was considering auditioning for american idol in LA this august but was wondering how long the whole process would take. If I am selected how many auditions would I have to go through. How many weeks might they keep the contestents? Will I possibly have to drop my college classes this fall?

I’m not sure how long everything takes…but I do know this. If you plan to audition…arrange things as though if you were already chosen. If you get picked…if you really want it…you will have to put your life on hold. College will have to wait. If you actually win and become the next Idol…American Idol owns you for several years. Before you even audition…you need to be sure to sort priorities. How bad do you want it?
