Is there anyone who has been to the American Idols Live Concert 2009 with Adam Lambert?
I am going to the Hartford show and I heard if you arrive early you can meet and greet. I just want to know if this is indeed true and what time is early. If anyone knows the facts from actually attending a show in one of the cities please please please it would help me so much. Ten points for real answer!

Yes, I went to the one in Charlotte this year. Yes, there are meet and greets before the show, but I can’t guarantee all of the Idols will come out. I know FOR SURE Adam will not be coming out, though. An incident occurred in Tampa, Florida where this girl was supposdly stalking him and making threats against him. You can look up the article online to get a little bit more insight about it. But ever since the incident, Adam does not do meets and greets before the show. He will for sure come out after the show though. In order to meet all of the Idols, I suggest getting to the arena around 11 or 12 to get a good spot at the front gate where they all will walk out. They came out at about 2 when I went. I was very disappointed that I didn’t get to see Adam! Allison or Lil’ Rounds did not come out either. Matt, Danny, Megan, Kris, Anoop, Michael, and Scott all came out and signed autographs/took pictures/exchanged hugs
It was great! So, basically, don’t expect Adam before the show. Go to the meet and greet after to see him. Hope this helps, have fun!!! I sure did
I haven’t been to one of the concerts, but I’ll tell you what I’ve heard from reading reviews.
There are Meet and Greets before the show, when all of the Idols come out EXCEPT Adam, for safety purposes, and sign autographs/take pictures with the fans. After the show, Adam WILL come out to do this, but you should probably leave early to get a good spot.
If you know someone, i.e. a worker at Ford, the concert venue, American Idol, etc., you can get into an official Meet and Greet before the show when you can get ONE thing signed by each Idol and chat with them a little; they are all seated at a table. You can also get into an After Party when the concert is over to talk with all the Idols in a casual setting.
