Because I swear, if I’m gonna try, I cannot sing anyone else’s songs. I’ve tried, and I suck at it.
So, can you sing your own song that you wrote on American Idol auditions with no music and still have a possible chance to get in? What about on the bigger stage? Do you have to have background music and someone else’s song? Thank you!

I’m kind of confused by the American Idol Auditions. I checked out the site and read that there are two registration dates and one audition day. What does that mean? Do you have to go in for registration and wait in line and then just come back on audition day and wait for your number? Please help and give me as much information as possible. I’m auditioning in Atlanta.

Is there anyone out there that kept track of the background songs played during the American Idol auditions? (when they were traveling from state to state) or where I can find a list of them? They played some really good songs during the interviews, when someone got the "golden ticket", and when someone didnt make it through to Hollywood and i would love to download them! Thanks in advance!
