is joining the american idols to get into the entertainment industry harder than just having a producer/agent representing you to a record label?
would you still have a good image as a singer if you sang teen pop for your albums instead of rock/pop like all american idol winners/finalists does?
i want to become a singer, but i dont know how to get discovered or represented to a record label. does joining the american idols cost anything? or do they provide you with sheltering and transportation?
