I think so far this has got to be the worst season of the show ever. Ever since season 5, the show has gotten worse every season, yet Ryan tries to convince us that they found the best singers ever. I mean for Ryan to keep saying that shows how Idol is really defensive and in denial of jumping the shark.

This week’s performances from the ladies and the men were the worst!

I hope this is the last season of American Idol.

Good thing Simon is leaving to launch the X-Factor.

First of all I love American Idol. When it comes on , my 3 granddaughters come 2nd, (I love my granddaughters more than anything). I would like to ask a question? Why do all of you constanantly bring up the young ages of the singers. You were on Jordin about being 17 yrs. old. If you all think they are to young to sing then raise their age requirement to 20. If they can sing at 13 ( Tanya Tucker) don’t down them on their age. I think you are the best judge. You are fair and honest I like Randy and Paula also.

I believe it’s because they know what he says is the truth.
The singers respects him and they even stick up for him, because they know what he says is the truth. He may be harsh, but the man is a great judge. He doesn’t sugarcoat the truth and he doesn’t bite his tongue for no one. Go Simon Cowell

I read that the 4th place vote-getter gets into the wildcard show. (why didn’t they announce this person on the show instead of telling everyone they were going home.) The other singers are judges choices and the total number of participants may be 10, 11 or 12.

This is where I’m confused. Does American vote or do the judges determine the best singers for those final 3 slots based on their performance in this show?

Why is American Idol being so vague about the wildcard show?
