What comment di Paula Abdul make about Kris and "cross-dressing" on American Idol last night?
I missed it, but heard some bits and pieces about it.
Also, how did Kara mess up a critique last night? Missed that too.

Paula said that "a lot of women don’t mind shopping in the men’s department, but most men don’t want to shop in the women’s department", which means that Kris was daring enough in her book to take on a song by Donna Summer, a female disco icon. However, Adam and Matt have sung songs from female artists in the past, so this was kind of a long overdue comment. Simon didn’t understand why Paula said that so he misconstrued it to mean that Paula thought Kris was a crossdresser or something. Easy mistake, as we really can’t decipher what Paula says half the time.
As for Kara, she said "Saturday Night Live" instead of "Saturday Night Fever" when she was talking about Adam Lambert’s performance, "If I Can’t Have You" from the movie Saturday Night Fever.
I watched it, but I heard nothing about either of those 2 subjects…
Paula said that women usually "shop in the men’s department" but men rarely "shop in the women’s department" and that Kris did that last night. Basically she was referring to the fact that he sang a song by a woman – most men don’t do that, but plenty of women sing songs originally sang by men. Simon turned it into a cross-dressing remark (I don’t blame him, she is so confusing sometimes).
A lot of people on that show are probably gay.
