Why Danny? ( on American Idol)?
Why do people love Danny so much? I mean the dude is so freaking gay!!!! It freaked me out just to look at him!! And the thrusting hips? What the heck is up with that?! And the purple streaks i repeat purple streaks!!! The dude cant even sing!!!!! Who ever agrees with me, give me a shout out!!! same with David Archileta fans!!!!!!

Oh come on, he wasn’t acting like he truly was (to the person above me). He was such a put on! It was so obvious and ridiculous. He got cut b/c nobody wanted another "Sanjaya" in the top 12…he was just there for the attention, not the singing.
I LOVE David Archuleta! He’s def gonna be in the top 2 or 3..probably will win if he can keep it up.
I agree totally…I’m glad he’s gone. The guy was annoying and he couldn’t sing nearly as well as the other contestants. The gay part has nothing to do with it (although he came across flaming…). His attitude sucked…it was like, "oh look at me…look how outrageous I can be…" I think that rubbed everyone the wrong way.
I agree with you!!! He was painful to watch, and he couldn’t sing all that great. He acted like an annoying 13 year old girl.

OK, you didn’t like him because he acted too gay…ahhh yeah ok…close minded person. You can’t change the way one act, like you can’t change the fact that you are a bimbo. You’re probably from the country, trailer trash. Grow up and face reality that people are different.
Sorry this is so long, I doubt anyone will read it, but I need to get my point across.
Why do people like Danny?
1) He is different and is proud of who he is.
Okay, to those of you who think it’s an act, just because you in general don’t act like that doesn’t mean others don’t either. Sorry to break it to you but the world is not you. There are billions of people and no one is the same.
And those of you who thought he was weird, what is so BAD about weird? Who WANTS to be normal? I know I definitely will not enjoy spending time with a boring person, that’s for sure. Normal does not mean boring, but people have pretty much brought it to that because anyone with any sort of personality to them is either annoying or weird.
And no one is going to pay to go to a concert where the person stands there like a robot, singers are supposed to be entertainers.
2) He really did have a voice.
I admit that he did not do well in his stage performances but I would have given him another chance. If you heard his audition and him in Hollywood, you’ll know that this kid has talent, it’s just not coming out yet. If he had picked the right song and had been more confident, I think the performance would have been amazing. I could also see him selling cds.
Why are you being homophobic? I wouldn’t say that because you don’t like him, but because you used "so freaking gay" as an excuse. There is no such thing as too gay or only a "little"g ay, you’re either gay or you’re not gay. End of story. Gayness does not usually reflect onto your personality. Flamers can be straight, and gay men don’t have to be flamers.
Purple streaks? Uhm, maybe because, I repeat, he was being himself and doing something he /wanted/ to do. Like I said earlier, no one wants to watch a boring person, and he wanted to do something unexpected and outrageous. It may not gotten the desired reaction, but does it really matter that much to you?
Thrusting hips? Eh, I have to admit his dancing kind of scares me, but I kind of like it at the same time.
and David Archuleta? SERIOUSLY overrated! I cannot see him selling albums in this day. I see little personality and stage presence in him, and his "aw shucks" attitude seems like a total act to get votes from all the wholesome people. Tuesday night made me think he was in some sort of pageant, with all the charity nonsense. He has a great voice, but this guy is so boring, watching him puts me to sleep.
Well, that’s my opinion.
