Why should people care if American Idol is off the air for the rest of the year?
The format is old and worn. The talent is horrible. It’s a fad. It’s a waste of our hard-earned money to text our winner and a waste of time. If more Americans focused on their personal finances like they do to American Idol, we would not be in this economic mess. American Idol is a waste of time.

When a puppy cute Christian boy with average talent wins over an amazing singer with incredible stage presence (and who happens to be gay), a show like that should not be on the air. It sends a bad message. I do not want my children to watch that and grow up believing that your looks are more important than your talent or who you are inside. I hate American Idol.
It’s just something to watch for an hour when it is dark out. It is free for me to call the 1-866 number
it’s a show we like. if you don’t like it, cool?
K well that’s YOUR opnion….
I read that people became tired of watching it! Glitz, glamor, poofs and sets! We need to see a singer without any background lights, distractions, explosions, etc! Adam is that person! The advertisers love it!
