Will Melinda Doolittle be "Daughtry-ed"?
Does anyone think that Melinda Doolittle may be the next Chris Daughtry? What I mean is that, just like Chris Daughtry, she’s a crowd favorite and favored to win, but will she make it to the Final Four, and then be cut, or maybe cut sooner? I just remember what a disappointment it was when Chris was cut, and I can only imagine how sad it will be if she’s cut.

I think she will be McPheed.
Chris had a one act DRONE voice. All the stuff he sang sounded exactly the same. He needed to be cut.
Personally I think that Melinda and LaKisha sound the same! However I have the feeling she will make it into the Top 4. That girl has talent. But I think Jordin Sparks or Blake deserves to win. They are the most unique.
It’s very possible, yes. It all comes down to the voting. Each singer on there needs to have his or her fans to pick up the phone and vote. Melinda does seem to have the most singing talent of anyone else on the show, but, how big is her fan base? Does she have more fans to vote for her than Blake, or Haley, or whoever.
Anything is possible. I read online, with the reviews and predictions on who could possible be kicked off..that it was a total "shocker" tonight…and it could be Lakisha.
But anyways…..yes she could be "Daughtry-ed". And every season there is a singer that is kicked off way before he/she should be. It happend first season…to Tamyra Grey.
I liked Melinda at first, now her "shyness" seems to be an act to me. I also can’t get past her lack of a neck…anyone else?
I like Lakisha and Blake, they are my favs.
She has a nice voice but she looks like a soccer mom. I don’t think she will sell a lot of CD’s. If she wins it will be Taylor Hicks all over again.
Yeah, I mean she has a good voice and all, but I just don’t see that "star quality" in her. You could tell people like Carrie and Chris had this quality, but I just don’t see it in her.
